Terms of Service
Last updated 10 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Chasm when you use our website and product. By buying or using Chasm, you agree to them. We have kept them short and readable.
Who we are: Chasm is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS], [COUNTRY]. These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]. (Founders: replace the bracketed details before launch.)
What Chasm is
Chasm is a guided journey that helps you take an idea and turn it into a working web app, using AI to write the code. We provide the structure, the guidance, and the tools. You bring the idea and do the steps.
What you need to use it
Chasm guides you through using several third-party tools. Some are free. One is not:
- A Claude Pro subscription (currently about $20 per month, paid directly to Anthropic, not to us) is required to use Claude Code, the AI that writes your app.
- Free accounts with GitHub, Supabase, and Vercel, which you create as part of the journey.
These are separate services with their own terms. Chasm is not responsible for them, their pricing, or their availability.
What we promise, and what we do not
We promise to give you a genuine, well-built guided path and to support you when you are stuck. We cannot promise a specific outcome. Building software depends on your idea, your effort, and third-party tools we do not control. Chasm is provided "as is", without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for what you build and for making sure it is legal and does not harm others.
- You are responsible for keeping your own accounts and credentials secure.
- You agree not to misuse the product, attempt to break it, or resell access without our permission.
Your work is yours
The app you build is yours. We claim no ownership over your ideas or the code your journey produces. Chasm itself, including our content, design, and guidance, remains ours.
Payment and access
Chasm is currently a one-time payment for access, processed by Stripe. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Chasm is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the product. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product grows. We will change the date at the top when we do. Questions? Email hello@buildwithchasm.com.
